
In 1994, the tragic suicide death of a mentally ill mother forced a desperate man to search for answers to help two of his children battle the same mental illness. His search took him beyond what the medical system could offer eventually leading to the development of a successful nutritional program to treat mental illness.
This discovery has since been the focus of many news articles and has been featured in a one-hour Discovery Health Channel documentary. The Truehope research and discovery was also featured in the May 2005 edition of Discover magazine.
TrueHope Institute was established to help address the needs of individuals and families that suffer with mental illness. We are a U.S.-registered non-profit charitable 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to providing hope, healing, and health to the mentally ill through our research, education, and rehabilitation programs.
